Spiro tetramate is a systemic insecticide with the ability to move in two directions through plant sap from the tetramic acid group. By preventing the growth of immature stages, reducing reproductive power and preventing fat biosynthesis, this insecticide causes the death of pest insects, including aphids, psyllids, whiteflies and weevils.
